Clause 4

Amendment of section 4

Section 4 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Subject to section 102(4), every” in subsection (2) and substituting the word “Every”; and

(b)

by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsection:“(3) The by-laws of a society referred to in subsection (2) may provide for —

(a)

a governing body to be a board of trustees; and

(b)

a committee of management to be a board of directors,but the provisions of Part V shall apply to a board of directors of such a society as they apply to a committee of management of any other society registered under this Act.”.
