New sections 97A and 97B
The principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 97, the following sections:“General exemption97A. Notwithstanding anything in this Act, the Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, exempt any person or class of persons from any of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder.Amendment of Schedule97B.—
(1)
The Minister may at any time, by order published in the Gazette, amend the Schedule.(2) The Minister may, in any order made under subsection (1), make such incidental, consequential or supplementary provisions as may be necessary or expedient.”.
