Amendment of section 21

Section 21 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraph (a) of subsection (2) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)an appointed or provisional representative of a licensed financial adviser or exempt financial adviser; or”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “exempt financial adviser” in subsection (2)(b), the words “referred to in section 23(1)(ea) or (f)”;

(c)

by deleting paragraph (a) of subsection (4) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)an appointed or provisional representative of a licensed financial adviser or exempt financial adviser which provides any financial advisory service in respect of life policies; or”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after the words “exempt financial adviser” in subsection (4)(b), the words “referred to in section 23(1)(ea) or (f)”.
