Clause 18

Amendment of section 84

Section 84 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) An application for the grant of a capital markets services licence shall be made to the Authority in such form and manner as the Authority may prescribe.”;

(b)

by deleting the words “or renewal of a licence” in subsection (3) and substituting the words “of a capital markets services licence”;

(c)

by deleting subsections (4), (5), (5A), (5B), (6), (7) and (8); and

(d)

by deleting the words “or renewal of licence” in the section heading and substituting the words “of capital markets services licence”.
