Clause 38

Consequential amendments to other written laws

(1)

Part II of the Second Schedule to the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act (Cap. 65A) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Moneylenders Act (Cap. 188)” immediately above item 183 and substituting the words “Moneylenders Act 2008”; and

(b)

by deleting items 183 and 184 and substituting the following items:“183.Section 14Unlicensed moneylending184.Section 28Harassing borrower, besetting his residence, etc.”.

(2)

Part II of the First Schedule to the Registration of Criminals Act (Cap. 268) is amended by deleting the following words:“Moneylenders ActSections 8 and 32.Cap. 188.”and substituting the following words:“Moneylenders Act 2008Sections 14 and 27.”.
