Clause 48

Every hospital which, immediately before the date of commencement of section 2(a) of this Act, is declared to be an approved hospital by the Minister by notification in the Gazette under section 2 of the Employment Act shall be deemed to be an approved medical institution under the Employment Act as amended by this Act.

For a period of 2 years after the date of commencement of this section, the Minister may, by regulations, prescribe such provisions of a savings or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of any provision of this Act as he may consider necessary or expedient.
