Repeal and re-enactment of section 22
Section 22 of the Employment Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Payment on dismissal
22. Subject to the provisions of this Act, the total salary and any sum due to an employee who has been dismissed shall be paid on the day of dismissal or, if this is not possible, within 3 days thereafter, not being a rest day or public or other holiday.”.
