Clause 208

Public Prosecutor may thereupon give instructions to Magistrate

(1)

The Public Prosecutor, upon the proceedings in any case being transmitted to him under section 207, may give such instructions with regard to the committal hearing to which those proceedings relate as he considers requisite, and thereupon the Magistrate shall carry into effect, subject to this Code, those instructions and shall conduct and conclude the committal hearing in accordance with the terms of those instructions.

(2)

The powers given to the Public Prosecutor by section 207 and this section shall be exercised only by him.
