Clause 16

by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(1A) Where a relevant member has been issued an annuity plan before the relevant month applicable to him, he shall, unless the Board determines otherwise, pay an additional premium, within that month or such period after that month as the Board may determine, of such amount as the Minister may determine, and the Minister may determine different additional premiums for different classes of relevant members.”; and

by deleting the full-stop at the end of the definition of “proper claimant” in subsection (10) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following definition:“ “relevant month”, in relation to a relevant member, means the month which is 2 months before the month in which the relevant member attains the prescribed age referred to in section 15(7).”.
