Amendment of section 95
Section 95 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (8) and substituting the following subsection:“(8) Where any vehicle or trailer is detained under this section, the Deputy Commissioner of Police or the Registrar shall with all reasonable despatch notify the owner of the seizure, and such notification may be given —
(a)
by posting a notice in writing to the owner of the vehicle at his usual or last known place of residence or business in Singapore; or
(b)
in such other manner as the Deputy Commissioner of Police or the Registrar thinks expedient.”.
