Clause 3

Amendment of section 67

Section 67 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of subsection (1)(h);

(b)

by deleting the comma at the end of paragraph (i) of subsection (1) and substituting the word “; or”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(j)for improving energy efficiency,”; and

(c)

by deleting subsection (6) and substituting the following subsections:“(6) Approval under this section shall only be granted during the following periods to a company in respect of any project under subsection (1)(i):

(a)

between 9th September 2004 and 8th September 2009 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

between 1st April 2010 and 31st March 2015 (both dates inclusive).(7) Approval under this section shall only be granted during the period between 1st April 2010 and 31st March 2015 (both dates inclusive) to any company in respect of any project under subsection (1)(j).”.
