Amendment of section 5

Section 5 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “older” wherever it appears in subsections (1) to (6);

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the word “prescribed” in subsection (2), the word “by or”;

(c)

by deleting the word “wages” wherever it appears in subsections (2) to (5) and substituting in each case the word “salary”;

(d)

by deleting subsection (7); and

(e)

by deleting the section heading and substituting the following section heading:“Salary adjustment at 60 years of age”.
