Repeal and re-enactment of section 21

Section 21 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Liability of licensee for act of servant and partner

21. Whenever any licensee would be liable under the provisions of this Act to any pecuniary penalty or forfeiture for any act, omission, neglect or default, the licensee shall be liable to the same pecuniary penalty or forfeiture for every similar act, omission, neglect or default, of —

(a)

any agent or servant employed by the licensee in the course of the operation of an employment agency in respect of which the licensee holds a licence; or

(b)

any of the partners, where the employment agency is a partnership, limited liability partnership or limited partnership.”.
