Amendment of section 78D

Section 78D of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting “$1,000” in subsection (2) and substituting “$1,500”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(2A) The offence under subsection (2) shall be a seizable offence within the meaning of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68).”.
