Amendment of section 64

Section 64 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “$1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months” in subsection (3) and substituting the words “$2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both”; and

(b)

by deleting subsection (4) and substituting the following subsection:“(4) The offence under subsection (3) shall be a seizable offence within the meaning of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68).”.
