Amendment of section 74
Section 74 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “an order published in the Gazette” in subsection (2) and substituting the word “rules”;
(b)
by deleting the words “the order” in subsection (2) and substituting the words “the rules”;
(c)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(2A) The Minister may, in any particular case, in his discretion and at any time waive in whole or in part any condition imposed under subsection (1).”; and
(d)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsection:“(3A) Subsection (3) does not apply to any condition which has been, or to the extent that it has been, waived in the person’s case under subsection (2A).”.
