Amendment of Child Development Co-Savings Act
Section 6 of the Child Development Co-Savings Act (Cap. 38A, 2002 Ed.) is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) Where a member dies, the moneys standing to his credit in his bank account shall be paid to the Public Trustee for disposal in accordance with —
(a)
the Intestate Succession Act (Cap. 146), if the member was not a Muslim at the time of his death; or
(b)
section 112 of the Administration of Muslim Law Act (Cap. 3), if the member was a Muslim at the time of his death.”.
