Clause 17

Amendment of Children and Young Persons Act

Section 52P(1) of the Children and Young Persons Act (Cap. 38, 2001 Ed.) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “under the management or control of” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “operated by”; and

(b)

by deleting paragraph (d) and substituting the following paragraph:“(d) any home for children and young persons which is, and is operated exclusively as, an approved institution under the Probation of Offenders Act (Cap. 252);”.
