Clause 16

by deleting the word “No” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “Subject to subsection (1A), no”; and

by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(1A) Where any person who is both a solicitor and a foreign lawyer is qualified under any rules made under section 130W to take or use the title of consultant in relation to his capacity as a foreign lawyer, nothing in subsection (1) shall affect his qualification to use that title in relation to that capacity.”.
