Amendment of section 2
Section 2 of the Environmental Protection and Management Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the definition of “licensee”, the following definition:“ “motor vehicle” shall have the same meaning as in the Road Traffic Act (Cap. 276);”; and
(b)
by deleting the definition of “qualified person” and substituting the following definition:“ “qualified person”, in relation to any industrial plant works referred to in section 33, means an appropriate qualified person appointed under section 8 or 11 of the Building Control Act (Cap. 29) in respect of building works which include industrial plant works;”.
