Clause 4

Amendment of section 5

Section 5 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “the Agency or” in subsection (1); and

(b)

by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsection:“(3) No matter or thing done by the Director-General or by any authorised officer shall, if it were done with reasonable care and in good faith for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act, subject him or such person personally to any liability whatsoever.”.
