Amendment of section 25
Section 25 of the Patents Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “An” in subsection (8) and substituting the words “Subject to subsection (9), an”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (8), the following subsection:“(9) A request to withdraw an application for a patent shall be made in such manner as may be prescribed.”.
