Amendment of section 46

Section 46(1) of the Immigration Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (a);

(b)

by deleting the words “, aircraft or train” in paragraph (b);

(c)

by deleting the words “section 19, 20, 24, 25 or 25A,” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “section 19, 20 or 24; or”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (b), the following paragraph:“(c)arrives at any authorised airport or train checkpoint in Singapore from any aircraft or train, as the case may be, and is required to leave or depart from Singapore under section 25 or 25A, as the case may be,”.
