Clause 11

The Evidence Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 67, the following section:“Proof of documents in certain cases67A. Where in any proceedings a statement in a document is admissible in evidence by virtue of section 32(1), it may be proved by the production of that document or (whether or not that document is still in existence) by the production of a copy of that document, or of the material part of it, authenticated in a manner approved by the court.”.
