Clause 26

Amendment of section 27L

Section 27L of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting subsection (1A) and substituting the following subsection:“(1A) Where a relevant member has been issued an annuity plan before such time as may be prescribed in the relevant regulations, he shall, if required by the Board, pay one or more additional premiums, each within such time as the Board may determine and of such amount as the Minister may determine, and the Minister may determine different additional premiums for different classes of relevant members.”;

(b)

by deleting the semi-colon at the end of paragraph (b) of the definition of “proper claimant” in subsection (10) and substituting a full-stop; and

(c)

by deleting the definition of “relevant month” in subsection (10).
