Clause 14

Repeal and re-enactment of section 19

Section 19 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Protection from personal liability

19. No liability shall be incurred by —

(a)

the Controller;

(b)

any authorised officer or employment inspector, or any person acting under the direction of the Controller; or

(c)

any member of the Appeal Board,for anything which is done or intended to be done in good faith and with reasonable care, in the exercise or purported exercise of any power, or the performance or purported performance of any function or duty, under this Act.”.
