Clause 25

Savings and transitional provisions

(1)

Notwithstanding section 4(b), section 5(6A) of the principal Act in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 4(b) shall continue to apply in relation to any person who contravenes section 5(1) of the principal Act before that date as if this Act had not been enacted.

(2)

Notwithstanding section 7(a), section 10(3) of the principal Act in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 7(a) shall continue to apply in relation to any person who contravenes section 10(1) of the principal Act before that date as if this Act had not been enacted.

(3)

For a period of 2 years after the date of commencement of this section, the Minister may, by regulations, prescribe such additional provisions of a savings or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of any provision of this Act as he may consider necessary or expedient.
