Clause 6

Section 9 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsections:“(3) Where any employer contravenes subsection (1), the Controller may impose on him a financial penalty of such amount, not exceeding $10,000, as the Controller may determine.(3A) Any employer who contravenes subsection (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.”.
