Clause 28

Section 258(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68, 2012 Ed.) is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (a) of Explanation 2, the following paragraph:“(aa) where the accused is informed in writing by a person in authority of the circumstances in section 33B of the Misuse of Drugs Act (Cap. 185) under which life imprisonment may be imposed in lieu of death;”.
