Clause 60

Section 136 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the words “is guilty of an offence if the evidence is false in a material particular in relation to the minor” and substituting the words “, being evidence which is false in relation to the minor, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000”.
