Clause 78

by inserting, immediately after the words “casino premises” in subsection (1)(b), the words “and visit limits to be made”; and

by inserting, immediately after subsection (7), the following subsections:“(8) The Council may appoint from amongst its own members such number of committees as it thinks fit, and may, subject to such conditions or restrictions as it may impose, delegate to any such committee any of the functions or powers of the Council under this Part, except —

the power of delegation conferred by this subsection;

the power to decide an appeal under section 165(6); and

the power to make any subsidiary legislation under section 170.(9) Any function or power delegated under subsection (8) to any committee may be performed or exercised by the committee to whom it has been delegated in the name and on behalf of the Council.(10) No delegation under subsection (8) shall prevent the performance or exercise of any function or power by the Council.”.
