Clause 52

Amendment of section 239

Section 239(1) of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “preliminary document”, the following definition:“ “product highlights sheet” means a product highlights sheet referred to in section 240AA(1);”; and

(b)

by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b) of the definition of “prospectus” and substituting the following paragraphs:“(a)a profile statement;

(b)

any material, advertisement or publication which is authorised by section 251 (other than subsection (5)); or

(c)

a product highlights sheet;”.
