Amendment of section 58
Section 58 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “necessary or expedient in the public interest” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “it necessary or expedient in the interests of the public or a section of the public or for the protection of investors”; and
(b)
by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsection:“(3) It shall not be necessary to publish any written direction issued under subsection (1) in the Gazette.”.
