Amendment of section 248

Section 248 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “principal officer” in subsections (1), (2) and (4) and substituting in each case the words “designated medical practitioner”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “principal officer” in the section heading and substituting the words “designated medical practitioner”.
