Clause 24

Amendment of section 44

Section 44 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “enter at all reasonable hours in the day time any premises” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “enter any premises at all reasonable hours in the day or night, or at such other time as may be agreed with the owner or occupier of the premises,”;

(b)

by deleting the words “night inspection” in subsection (4) and substituting the words “inspection at any time of the day or night”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (4), the following subsection:“(5) The Board shall not be liable to pay any person any fee, charge or expense on account of such entry to any premises or of anything done in any part of the premises under this Act.”.
