Amendment of section 20
Section 20 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (1B), the following subsection:“(1C) The Commissioner may, pending compliance with any requirements relating to fire safety affecting any part of a building subject to this section, issue a fire certificate in respect only of any other part of the building if he is satisfied that those requirements do not affect the fire safety of that other part of the building.”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the words “any building” in subsection (2), the words “or part thereof”.
