Clause 9

by deleting paragraph (a) of subsection (1) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)a female employee applies to adopt a child, before 1st May 2013, in accordance with any written law relating to the adoption of children;”; (b)by deleting paragraph (a) of subsection (4) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)a self-employed woman applies to adopt a child, before 1st May 2013, in accordance with any written law relating to the adoption of children;”; and

by deleting the section heading and substituting the following section heading:“Reimbursement of employer of female employee, and self-employed woman in respect of adoption leave for application made before 1st May 2013”.
