Clause 53

Transfer of registration of registered geographical indication

A registrant may apply to the Registrar for the registration of a registered geographical indication to be transferred to another person.

The registration shall not be transferred to another person unless that person —

(a)

is entitled to file an application for registration of the geographical indication under section 38; and

(b)

consents to having the registration transferred to him.
