Amendment of section 190
Section 190 of the Companies Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “company” wherever it appears in subsections (1), (2A) and (5) (including the subsection heading) and substituting in each case the words “public company”;
(b)
by deleting the word “company” where it first appears in subsections (2), (3) and (7) and substituting in each case the words “public company”; and
(c)
by inserting, immediately after the word “members” in the section heading, the words “of public companies”.
