Amendment of section 205B
Section 205B of the Companies Act is amended —
by deleting paragraph (f) of subsection (3) and substituting the following paragraphs:“(f)the payment of any fee or charge (including any fee, penalty or interest for late payment) payable under any written law;
(fa)the payment of any composition amount payable under section 409B or any other written law; (fb)the payment or receipt by the company of such nominal sum not exceeding such amount as may be prescribed;”; and
by deleting the words “profit and loss accounts and balance‑sheet, or consolidated accounts and balance‑sheet” in subsection (4)(a) and substituting the words “financial statements or consolidated financial statements and balance‑sheet”.
