Amendment of section 216A

Section 216A of the Companies Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the definition of “company” in subsection (1);

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the word “action” wherever it appears in subsections (2) and (3), the words “or arbitration”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after the word “action” in subsection (5)(a) and (c), the words “or arbitration”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after the word “action” in subsection (5)(b), the words “or arbitration by the person so authorised”.
