Clause 60

Section 125 of the Companies Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsections:“(4) For the purposes of this section in relation to a book‑entry security, a reference to an owner therein shall be construed as a reference to the Depository.(5) Subsection (2) shall not apply to documents evidencing title in relation to listed securities which have been deposited with the Depository and registered in its name or its nominee’s name.”.
