Amendment of section 146
Section 146(1A) of the Companies Act is amended by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)he has, by himself or through a registered qualified individual authorised by him, filed with the Registrar —
(i)
a declaration that he has consented to act as a director;
(ii)
a statement in the prescribed form that he is not disqualified from acting as a director under this Act; and
(iii)
a statement in the prescribed form that he is not debarred under section 155B from acting as director of the company; and”.
