Amendment of section 5
Section 5 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the words “the footways thereof,”, the words “and public parks, beaches, foreshores, canals, waterways and unoccupied State land,”;
(b)
by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Nothing in subsection (1) shall derogate from the effect of any other written law.”; and
(c)
by inserting, immediately after the words “public streets” in the section heading, the word “, etc.,”.
