Clause 12
Amendment of Article 108
Article 108 of the Constitution is amended —
(a)
by deleting paragraph (a) of clause (2) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)be prescribed in regulations made by the President and published in the Gazette; or”; and (b)by inserting, immediately after clause (2), the following clause: “(2A) Regulations made under clause (2)(a) may provide that any gratuity payable in respect of service as a member of the Public Service Commission shall be charged on and paid out of the Consolidated Fund.”.
