Clause 2
Amendment of Article 2
Article 2(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (referred to in this Act as the Constitution) is amended —
(a)
by deleting the definition of “Judge of the Supreme Court” and substituting the following definition:“ “Judge of the Supreme Court” means the Chief Justice, a Judge of Appeal or a Judge of the High Court;”;
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the words “count for pension” in the definition of “remuneration”, the words “or gratuity”; and
(c)
by inserting, immediately after the words “grant of pensions” in the definition of “remuneration”, the words “or gratuities”.
