Amendment of section 2
Section 2 of the Industrial Relations Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the definition of “employer”, the following definition:“ “executive employee”, in relation to an employer, means an employee who is employed in a managerial or an executive position by the employer;”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the definition of “inspecting officer”, the following definition:“ “non‑executive employee”, in relation to an employer, means an employee other than an executive employee;”.
