Clause 6

Amendment of section 30

Section 30 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “name,” wherever it appears in subsections (1) and (2);

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “to both” in subsection (2), the words “and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $250 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction”; and

(c)

by deleting the words “Name, symbol” in the section heading and substituting the word “Symbol”.
