Amendment of section 34
Section 34(1) of the principal Act is amended —
by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (iii); and
by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (iv) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraphs:“(v)for the purpose of assisting a public officer, or an officer of another statutory board, who is responsible for administering or enforcing any written law, to administer or enforce that written law;
in connection with any civil proceedings to which the Authority is a party; or
with a view to the institution, or otherwise for the purposes, of any disciplinary proceedings or investigation in connection therewith under any written law.”.
