Clause 28

Provision of false or misleading information

Any person who knowingly or recklessly provides to the Licensing Officer, the Commissioner, an authorised officer, the Liquor Appeal Board or the Minister, any false or misleading information or document in relation to any application or appeal concerning a liquor licence, a consumption permit or a Liquor Control Zone banning notice, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction —

(a)

to a fine not exceeding $5,000; and

(b)

where the person is a repeat offender, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both.
